Job Details:
Workday HRIS Manager / Director
Seeking a manger with Workday / HR systems background with RFP proccess and selection, followed by implementation and integration experience. The successful candidate will work with HR/company leaders to set the Human Resource systems strategy, provide systems project integration oversight and direct supervision, and provide guidance and management for all HRIS projects for a quickly maturing Human Resources division.
Major Responsibilities
• Design HR technology processes and/or service delivery models, with an emphasis on Workday and HR Systems best practices
• Develop strong and progressive relationships with various HR Business Partners and HRIS teams
• Develop collaborative and productive relationships with IT peers and various Operational teams
• Evaluate and select systems to meet the operational HR needs
• Support and improve the integration of the HR systems with a focus on Workday integrations tools/technologies
• Implement appropriate project management methodologies to deliver technology related projects.
• Develop and implement cost savings and reduction procedures.
• Participate and initiate long-range strategic plans for business technology supporting initiatives, and the execution of those plans.
• Provide leadership in achieving organizational business objectives and departmental deliverables
Qualifications
• 1+ years of Workday implementation and project management experience required
• 10+ years HRIS management experience
• Must have experience leading project teams through all phases of the technology implementation including RFP process
• Experienced with owning project budget, risks, resources, and staffing
• Requires excellent oral and written communications as well as interpersonal skills
• Exceptional conceptual and project management skills are required
• Budget development and control skills are required
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to lead and motivate others.
• Minimum 4-year system/MIS related college degree or equivalent work experience required
• Strong leadership and organization skills and management experience
• Must be a team player with good interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
• Should be able to work with off-shore vendors and resources spread out globally
• Ability to communicate and work directly with business leaders across Technology and HR
• Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Must possess organizational, problem-solving skills, and time management skills to meet deadlines
