SAP HRIS Analyst 

The manager would like someone that can work with hr team members. This person does not need to be a coder. She will consider HRIS experience other than SAP. 

Job Summary 


This role provides business and technical support for human resources applications and technology. Working as part of team, the role will be responsible for the implementation, administration, configuration, and maintenance of HRIS Systems. Work closely to develop metrics, trends and forecasts related to human capital and human resource processes.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
HRIS Analyst

Evaluates and verifies HR technology systems and software data needs.

Coordinates and facilitates new module implementation and upgrades, collaborates with Information Technology (IT), HR business areas, and end-users.

Advises IT staff in the technical review, analysis and support of the day-to-day information needs for various human resources functions.

Serves as the business subject matter expert for systems documentation including configuration, requirements, and functional and technical specifications, works in partnership with IT to develop technical requirements.

Oversees and updates HR technology systems to support policy and process changes.

Serves as a 'super user' and administrator of HR systems and tools to identify best practices, assesses functionality and system requirements, and recommends process improvements as applicable, ensures data integrity for all HR processes and programs.

Consults with internal customers on HR technology systems application and functionality.

Serves as a key liaison with third parties, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Writes, maintains and supports various reports and queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools, provides employee data for analysis and decision making, statistical data analysis and other reporting as required, develops new standard and ad-hoc reports for customer needs.

Drives operational excellence in the HR Analysis function by identifying and developing alternative methods for optimizing and streamlining reporting.

Analyzes data to recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes

Provides production support for HRIS reporting including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS issues, unexpected results or process flaws, performs scheduled activities such as system updates and audits, recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

At least 3+ years of applicable experience administering systems applications

System administration experience of SAP-HR, Ultipro or other HCM systems strongly preferred.

Experience with documenting system requirements, system design, and configuration preferred.

Database management skills including the ability to merge, clean and analyze large amounts of data; experience with SAP BI or SuccessFactors WFA/WFP highly preferred

Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings to a non-technical audience

Experienced in multi-system integrations and implications of data replication

Excellent computer skills, e.g. MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments/projects, timelines and to identify project interdependencies, resource needs, potential risks/pitfalls and mitigation plans; recognized as an integrator and solution provider

Ability to exercise sound judgment and confidentiality in handling information and issues that arise while staying within defined policies and practices

Possess flexibility, solid teamwork capabilities, and consultation skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated experience in preparing and delivering presentations that convey key concepts and outline recommendations to various levels of management

Ability to follow strategic direction and develop the critical path on how to complete assignments/initiatives

Ability to execute assignments or projects with excellence, minimal supervision or rework and resulting in high degree of accuracy and early/on-time delivery

Education Requirements
Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor , Disciplines: Preferred: Business,Economics,Finance,Human Resources,Statistics,Information Technology
