Medical Writer – Sr Medical Writer (Oncology)
Medical Communications- Healthcare Communications- Promotional Medical Education
My client an excellent Medical Communications company is actively in search of an experienced Medical Writer or Senior Medical Writer. This is a position for individuals who have at least 2 or more years of medical writing experience within a medical communications company setting.
Qualified applicants will have Promotional Medical Education content development experience providing scientific & clinical expertise at a medical communications company. Strong knowledge/experience in the oncology therapeutic areas is sought.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Medical Writing/Content Development, of slide decks & scripts for presentation at medical meetings/programs, advisory board materials, interactive eLearning modules, posters, promotional monographs, pitch decks, white papers, etc.
- Ability to apply scientific acumen to write in a given or variety of therapeutic areas.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills are essential
- Excellent time management & multitasking
- Ability to work with internal staff & teams (program management, account management, etc.), clients & KOL’s to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
- Understanding of LMR submission process, compliance requirements, reporting and documentation
Qualifications:
- MS, PhD, PharmD, advanced degree
- Two (2) or more years of Medical Writing experience in a healthcare communications, medical education, medical communications company setting is required by the client
- Oncology medical writing therapeutic experience
- Understanding of AMA guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Microsoft proficient (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other industry software)
- Ability to work both independent and as a team member
