Job Details:
Our client is currently looking for a Level I Desktop Support Technician to work 20 hrs. per week on flexible hours.
Experience working within a corporate I.T. department or data center (or equivalent) is highly preferred. In addition to maintaining, analyzing, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in an office setting.
The technician will:
Document, maintain, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems in a corporate environment.
Functional and practical troubleshooting ability with all software applications in a Windows 7/Office 2010 environment
A+ certification
All level of installation and support of laptops, printers, and handheld devices
Excellent technical knowledge of pcs and desktop hardware.
Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards.
Ability to operate tools, components and peripheral accessories.
Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
Familiar with a variety of the fields’ concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
