BRIDGE SUPERINTENDENT
Our client is currently seeking an experienced, qualified candidate to fill the role of Bridge Superintendent for active bridge construction renovation projects in New York. This is a hands-on position!
Job Duties:
Study specifications to plan for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of project.
Order tools, equipment and materials to complete work as scheduled.
Direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors in both planning and execution of work.
Coordinate with New York Department of Transportation personnel and inspectors as well as suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction related issues.
Inspect and oversee work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules.
Ensure and monitor job-site safety.
The Bridge Superintendent position requires individual to demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, organizational, planning and strategic thinking skills while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
