Business Distribution Manager (eCommerce/Travel/Vacation)

The overall purpose of this position is to formulate and execute strategies that will increase the productivity of each one of the Direct channels of Distribution, in order to reach the annual goals. This is completed through problem solving, as well as analyzing data, leveraging technology, and establishing strong vendor relationships. We are seeking a Direct Business Distribution Manager that has experience in the travel industry and has eCommerce experience.
Here are some of the responsibilities:
- Manage all process flows for booking tools in Direct channels of Distribution both domestically and internationally, including a budget exceeding $140M on an annual basis including
- Develop strategy to hit budgetary goals by conducting beta tests to develop best practices and guidelines and then seeing
- Manage vendor relationship with
- Vertical Booking – Relating to Direct business
- Manage vendor relationship with call center vendor (ALG contact center) – $1.8 million annual cost
- Manage vendor relationship with TACs (Travel Agent Commission Payments System)
- Manage relationship with financial processes – ALG affiliate Finnamar
- credit card payment processor – Worldpay
- Work with marketing on digital marketing and initiatives for International promotions
- Work with webstack developers to insure all links to booking engines are correct functioning
- Manage vendor relationship with Bestday Travel Solutions for international booking engines
