Senior Internal Auditor
Bethlehem, PA
Role:
Be a part of a leading manufacturing organization! As a Senior Internal Auditor, this individual will assist in planning and performing both operational and financial audits for the organization. This would include developing audit schedules, procedures, reporting, compliance, controls, planning, and working alongside IT Audit to make sure the plans/processes are efficient.
Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership to junior level staff
- Identifying at risk issues and providing recommendations to business leaders
- Assisting external auditors as needed
- Assist with annual Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 control testing and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC financial reporting requirements and regulations
- Lead and perform, individually or in a team, all phases of audits including planning, fieldwork, reporting results and performing subsequent follow-up procedures.
- Develop a deep understanding of operations management and auditing as well as the ability to judge, evaluates, and monitors performances
Qualifications:
- Bachelors' Degree - Master's a plus
- 3+ plus years of auditing experience. This can be directly from public accounting or a combination external audit and corporate internal audit.
- CPA or MBA is strongly preferred.
- Data Analytics is also a plus
