Job Details:
Vice President of Service - HVAC Manager –
Reports to the VP of Operations and the President:
- Manage HVAC Service Managers, in the field personnel and provide guidance and coaching.
- A technical background in the HVAC, Boiler, refrigeration, and/or plumbing system preferred
- Provide direction and support to the service operations.
- Complete work orders, task lists and documents to verify work performed as needed to conform to customer invoicing requirements when needed.
- Completes documentation of invoicing data based on hours worked and materials or equipment used to perform the service.
- Explains the service charges and work performed to the satisfaction of the customer when necessary
- Purchase materials and issue purchase order numbers to suppliers.
- Managerial and coaching
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
- Must be able to pass a current background check
- Excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of mechanical construction projects
- Minimum of 5 years managing service, operations, and managers.
- Proven success managing a team and leading profitability for a construction company – Service operations preferred.
