Job Details:
Our client is looking for an exceptionally, talented lead algorithm developer with an innate interest in solving cutting edge technical problems in a fast-paced, small business environment. You'll lead small research teams to develop and implement algorithms for mathematical optimization, machine learning, data mining, and data exploitation.
Requirements
- Masters or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or similar
- 5 or more years of experience in algorithm design, implementation, and testing
- 2 or more years of experience as a technical lead or principal investigator on an interdisciplinary research team
- Proficiency with one of the following programming Object Oriented languages: Java, C#, C++
Preferences
- Experience in two or more of the above application areas
- Proposal writing and other business development experience
- Program/Project management
