Job Details:
My client is seeking to add a Civil Engineer to their talented team. The ideal candidate will be efficient in Civil 3D AutoCAD, have experience working on land development projects. Ability to work with little supervision. During the design process, candidate will ensure that designs meet all necessary design standards and specifications outlined by the jurisdiction of where project is located.
Design Engineer Responsibilities:
• Understand engineering concepts used in land development.
• Create engineering drawings, pipe networks, and corridors.
• Grading experience on subdivision, commercial and retail sites.
• Create drainage studies for projects, perform hydrology and hydraulic calculations.
• Erosion control design and write stormwater management plan.
• Perform roadway design.
• Water and sanitary sewer layout.
• Proficient in using water cad, storm cad, and UD Sewer.
Design Engineer Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant technical degree
• 2-15 years of relevant experience
