Ultipro HRIS Specialist

The primary focus of this position is to support the maintenance of the human resource information system (HRIS). This position serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Specialist also supports HRIS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Primary Accountabilities and Duties:
•Maintain and modify the HRIS systems, configuration and end user access.
•Provide support for HRIS, including researching and resolving HRIS errors
•Generates and manages reports; supports special projects and data requests.
•Provides support function in the areas of people metrics and reporting
•Creates, maintains, and ensures quality assurance of key human resources data sets, reports, and metrics
•Set direction of data development and analysis, using data analysis to assist with decision making.
•Responsible for ensuring data integrity and standardization by running queries and analyzing data.
•Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries
•Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing needs.
•Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
•Train users on new processes/functionality.
•Awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
•Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques


•HR or related degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience within a similiar role
•Experience with setup, maintaining and modifying of UltiPro
•Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications; specifically Excel
•Superior analytical skills and problem solving ability, as evidenced by the proven ability to interpret business needs
•Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a highly dynamic environment
•Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users and to all levels in the organization
•Must be a team player
•Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality
•2+ years of UltiPro HRIS administration experience
•Hands-on experience running complex reports for multiple locations and business units
