Mechanical Contracting Project Manager
A well-established mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from award through closeout. Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial mechanical/HVAC construction projects from kickoff through completion.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, general contractors, and field personnel.
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Monitor project progress to ensure quality, safety, and profitability.
- Attend job meetings and provide regular project updates.
- Mentor project engineers and support field operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of mechanical contracting project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is a plus.
