Electrical Project Foreman

Position Summary:


The Electrical Project Foreman is responsible for supervising field crews and
coordinating the installation of electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and
medical projects. This includes power distribution, branch circuitry, lighting systems,
grounding, equipment terminations, low-voltage pathways, and underground
infrastructure where applicable.
The Foreman ensures that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to
project specifications, drawings, and company standards. This role works closely with
Project Managers, APMs, inspectors, subcontractors, and other trades to maintain
schedule, quality, and jobsite organization.
The Electrical Project Foreman must demonstrate strong leadership, solid technical
knowledge, and effective communication skills while representing the company with
professionalism and integrity.

• Lead by example: Demonstrate professionalism, craftsmanship, and a strong

• Crew coordination: Manage electricians and apprentices to ensure productivity
and quality.
• Technical competency: Understand commercial, industrial, and medical electrical
systems thoroughly.
• Proactive planning: Prepare work areas, materials, and manpower needs ahead
of schedule.
• Clear communication: Maintain consistent communication with PMs, APMs,
inspectors, and other trades.
• Documentation accuracy: Ensure daily reports, redlines, and field documentation
are complete and accurate.
• Safety ownership: Enforce OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety requirements.
• Quality assurance: Ensure installations meet NEC, NESC, BICSI, and company
standards.
• Subcontractor coordination: Support oversight of subcontractors and ensure
alignment with project goals.
• Professionalism: Represent the company with integrity, consistency, and a
solutions-focused mindset.
