Municipal Design Engineer | Hybrid Flexibility
A well-established engineering firm is seeking a Municipal Design Engineer to support a growing portfolio of public sector projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on impactful infrastructure improvements including roadways, drainage systems, utilities, and site development tied to municipal and county initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop municipal infrastructure projects including roadways, stormwater systems, and utilities
- Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with municipalities, agencies, and internal project teams
- Assist with permitting, approvals, and regulatory compliance
- Support project management efforts and client interaction
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 3–10+ years of municipal or site design experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with stormwater management and local ordinances
- EIT or PE preferred (not required for all levels)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
