Civil Engineer – Land Development (Northern Virginia)
We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 2–20 years of experience to join our growing land development team in Northern Virginia. This role involves working on a variety of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare site design plans including grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control
- Perform stormwater management and hydrologic/hydraulic calculations
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and local agencies
- Support permitting and regulatory approvals
- Review plans, specifications, and reports for quality and accuracy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 2–20 years of relevant land development experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Strong understanding of local regulations and design standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
