Civil Project Manager – Land Development & Stormwater (Northern Virginia)
Responsibilities:
Join a growing team shaping communities across Northern Virginia through innovative land development solutions. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects while collaborating with top-tier clients and technical experts.
- Manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction, including land development and stormwater management design
- Prepare and review site plans, grading, drainage, and utility layouts
- Coordinate with clients, local jurisdictions, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with Northern Virginia regulations and permitting requirements
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and project deliverables
- Mentor junior staff and support business development efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in land development and stormwater design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain in Virginia
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software
- Strong knowledge of local codes, permitting, and environmental regulations
- Excellent communication and project management skills
