Project Manager – Heavy Civil (Bridge Construction)
Location: Philadelphia Suburbs
This is not a paper-pushing PM role. This is for someone who knows how to run bridge jobs, keep crews moving, and deliver complex infrastructure projects without excuses. We’re partnered with a highly respected heavy civil contractor with a strong presence in DOT bridge work and a backlog that’s locked in for years.
What You’ll Own:
- Full lifecycle management of bridge construction projects (budget, schedule, execution)
- Lead project teams including engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors
- Direct client interaction with agencies like PennDOT and local municipalities
- Manage contracts, change orders, and risk mitigation
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and profitably
What They Want:
- 5–12+ years of heavy civil construction experience with a focus on bridges/highways
- Proven ability to run projects independently
- Strong knowledge of DOT standards (PennDOT experience highly preferred)
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and field operations
- Leadership mindset – someone who takes control and drives results
