Survey Crew Chief – Bucks County, PA
Well-established civil engineering and surveying firm is looking to add an experienced Survey Crew Chief to their growing team in the Bucks County area. This is a great opportunity to lead field operations on a variety of land development, construction, and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage survey field crews on boundary, topographic, and construction stakeout projects
- Operate total stations, GPS (RTK), and data collectors
- Interpret plans, plats, and construction documents
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency of field data collection
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and office staff
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper field procedures
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of field surveying experience with crew chief responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of boundary, topographic, and construction surveys
- Proficiency with GPS and robotic total station equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and survey plans
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license
