Tax/Audit Legal Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, format, and proofread tax and audit-related legal documents
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and filing schedules
- Coordinate document filings with courts, agencies, and clients
- Organize and maintain case files and financial records
- Handle client communications and correspondence
- Assist with billing, time entry, and expense tracking
- Conduct basic research and gather supporting documentation
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of legal secretarial experience, with 3 or more years in tax/audit
- Familiarity with legal terminology and document formatting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
