What You’ll Do

As a Controls Engineer / PLC Programmer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing automation systems for industrial and water treatment processes. Responsibilities include:

  • Program and configure PLC and HMI systems for industrial and water/wastewater applications
  • Develop and maintain PC-based graphical interfaces (SCADA/HMI)
  • Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and clients to define system requirements
  • Create functional descriptions, system documentation, and training materials
  • Support system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Assist with system integration, networking, and program deployment
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance across all control systems

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred
  • Hands-on experience with PLC and HMI programming
  • Strong knowledge of Windows-based systems, networking, and program configuration
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and deliver precise, high-quality work
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical teams and clients
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with programming languages such as Visual Basic, SQL Server, or C++
  • Background in water/wastewater or industrial automation systems
