What You’ll Do
As a Controls Engineer / PLC Programmer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing automation systems for industrial and water treatment processes. Responsibilities include:
- Program and configure PLC and HMI systems for industrial and water/wastewater applications
- Develop and maintain PC-based graphical interfaces (SCADA/HMI)
- Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and clients to define system requirements
- Create functional descriptions, system documentation, and training materials
- Support system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
- Assist with system integration, networking, and program deployment
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance across all control systems
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred
- Hands-on experience with PLC and HMI programming
- Strong knowledge of Windows-based systems, networking, and program configuration
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and deliver precise, high-quality work
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical teams and clients
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Nice to Have:
- Experience with programming languages such as Visual Basic, SQL Server, or C++
- Background in water/wastewater or industrial automation systems
