Job Details:
Building Automation Systems (BAS) Manager
Are you the person that walks into a facility and immediately sees what everyone else misses?
A well-established, highly respected mechanical and HVAC solutions company serving the commercial and institutional market for over 60 years is looking for a seasoned Building Automation Systems Manager to lead their controls division. This is a company with a blue-chip client roster, a reputation that precedes them in the tri-state market, and a team that genuinely takes pride in their craft.
What You'll Be Doing You'll own the controls division — managing the installation, programming, commissioning, and servicing of Building Management Systems across a diverse portfolio of commercial and institutional facilities. You'll be the technical authority in the room, the person clients trust and teammates turn to when things need to get solved fast.
- Lead and manage a team of controls technicians
- Program, commission, and troubleshoot Siemens, Honeywell, and other BMS platforms
- Interface with engineers, mechanical contractors, and facility managers at the highest level
- Coordinate projects from scope to sign-off
- Collaborate with an experienced engineering and service team behind you every step of the way
What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on BAS/BMS experience with a track record of running projects, not just working them
- Deep proficiency with Siemens and/or Honeywell building automation platforms
- The ability to lead people as confidently as you lead a commissioning sequence
- Strong communication skills — you can talk to a facilities director and a field tech in the same afternoon and nail both conversations
- A self-starter mentality with the organizational chops to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
What's In It For You
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
- A stable, financially sound company that has navigated six decades of market cycles and come out stronger every time
- A senior role with real authority — you'll be managing a division, not just a job
- The backing of a full engineering, parts, and service infrastructure
- A culture where expertise is respected and good work gets noticed
If you're a BAS professional who's ready to step into a leadership role with a company that has earned its reputation the right way — one project at a time — we'd like to hear from you.
