Trademark Operations Manager (AM Law 100)
Firm:
A nationally recognized AM Law 100 firm with 500+ attorneys providing comprehensive legal services to innovative companies from startups to global enterprises.
Role:
The Trademark Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the trademark support team within the firm. This role ensures efficient workflow management, high-quality docketing and filing processes, and compliance with domestic and international trademark regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate trademark paralegals, specialists, and support staff
- Assign and manage workloads to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Oversee trademark prosecution processes, including filings, renewals, oppositions, and maintenance
- Ensure accuracy of docketing systems and critical deadline tracking
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with attorneys to support trademark strategy execution
- Serve as escalation point for complex operational issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification preferred
- 4+ years of trademark prosecution or IP operations experience
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
- Experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
Working Situation:
Hybrid
Compensation/Benefits:
- Base Salary: $100-140k+, commensurate with experience.
- Additional Compensation: Annual performance-based bonus.
