**Position: Senior Level Technician (Full Time)**
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee ongoing paving construction projects.
- Conduct field and laboratory testing of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, and asphalt concrete.
- Inspect asphalt concrete placement and verify grades.
- Utilize field testing equipment, such as nuclear gauges, for compaction testing.
- Perform geotextile installations and manage soil stabilization and slurry seal projects.
- Operate independently and be willing to travel as required.
**Essential Skills:**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and oral communication abilities.
- Effective team collaboration.
- Sharp analytical and time management skills.
- Background or understanding in engineering.
**Minimum Requirements:**
- Certification with Caltrans or NICET.
- Experience in materials testing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to travel if needed.
