A well-established civil engineering and land development firm in Central New Jersey is seeking a detail-oriented Survey CAD Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse public and private sector projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and subdivision surveys
- Process field data and develop base mapping using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Assist with construction stakeout plans and as-built drawings
- Coordinate with survey crews, engineers, and project managers
- Review deeds, plats, and title documents for accurate survey preparation
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of survey drafting experience (civil consulting environment preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong understanding of survey principles, mapping standards, and coordinate systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
