Structural Engineer – Commercial
An established engineering firm is seeking a Structural Engineer to support commercial and industrial building projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects including education, healthcare, hospitality, office, religious, and other commercial facilities.
Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for commercial projects

Perform structural calculations (steel, concrete, and other materials)

Develop construction documents, drawings, specifications, and reports

Utilize structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD, Enercalc, etc.)
-
Create and coordinate models/drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
-
Participate in client meetings and support project proposals and presentations
-
Conduct site observations and prepare related documentation
-
Provide guidance and oversight to production staff
-
Manage multiple project deadlines effectively
Qualifications
-
B.S. in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited)
-
3+ years of relevant structural engineering experience
-
PE license in Kansas preferred or actively pursuing licensure
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
-
Experience with RISA, STAAD, Enercalc, or similar structural analysis software
-
Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
