Controls Engineer

A growing industrial automation manufacturer is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design, programming, and support of PLC and HMI-based control systems used in automated machinery and production equipment.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on programming, troubleshooting, and improving automation systems in a stable, long-term environment.
What You’ll Do
-
Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI/SCADA systems

Develop and modify control logic, sequences, and operator interfaces

Support machine integration, startup, and commissioning

Maintain electrical and controls documentation
-
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams

Improve reliability, performance, and system standards
What We’re Looking For
-
7+ years of Controls / Automation Engineering experience
-
Strong PLC and HMI programming background (Allen-Bradley / Siemens preferred)

Experience supporting industrial machinery or automated equipment

Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems

Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing / engineering environment
