Wastewater Design Engineer
Location: Philadelphia Suburbs (Hybrid)
A well-established civil/environmental engineering firm in the Philadelphia suburban area is seeking a Wastewater Design Engineer to join its growing water/wastewater team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on meaningful municipal infrastructure projects with a collaborative, technically strong group.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analysis of wastewater treatment and collection systems
- Preparation of engineering calculations, reports, plans, and specifications
- Work on pump stations, force mains, gravity sewers, and treatment facility upgrades
- Coordinate with project managers, CAD staff, and municipal clients
- Support permitting and regulatory compliance (PA DEP experience a plus)
- Assist with construction administration and field support as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 4+ years of wastewater or water/wastewater design experience
- PE license or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
- Familiarity with PA DEP regulations strongly preferred
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
