Real Estate Accountant
$80,000 - $90,000 + Bonus

What You’ll Do
- Handle property level accounting; portfolio level accounting and consolidated financial reporting
- Review monthly GL activity and reconciliations
- Manage general ledger accounting and identify process improvement opportunities
- Manage the monthly close process and meet Controller deadlines
- Serve as a primary liaison for auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Partner with property management on budget vs. actual analysis and variance explanations
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial reports, quarterly and annual reporting packages, and related financial disclosures under the Controller’s supervision.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Act as a go-to resource for real estate accounting matters
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of real estate accounting experience (multi-property)
- Hands-on experience with Yardi, MRI, Entrata, or similar systems
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and real estate concepts
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Exposure to taxes, auditors, and or value-add initiatives
