Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)
Overview
-
Lead the design, analysis, and delivery of HVAC and mechanical building systems
-
Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
Key Responsibilities
-
Define project scope and participate in kick-off meetings and site visits
-
Design HVAC and building systems using CAD/Revit tools
-
Prepare and review sketches, layouts, and construction documents
-
Perform system analysis and apply engineering principles and applicable codes
-
Review test data and support system testing and improvements
-
Address job site conditions and resolve design challenges
-
Coordinate closely with Electrical, Plumbing, Architectural, and Civil teams
-
Ensure designs meet project requirements, schedules, and budgets
Leadership & Collaboration
-
Lead and mentor the Mechanical Engineering team
-
Provide technical guidance, design review, and feedback
-
Communicate expectations and progress to senior leadership
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
-
10+ years of mechanical design experience (HVAC focus)
-
Strong proficiency with CAD software (8+ years preferred)
-
Proven portfolio demonstrating design impact
-
Willingness to travel occasionally to job sites
