Litigation Paralegal - Los Angeles, CA
Firm:
Founded 40+ years ago, this is a national litigation law firm, with over 200 attorneys, that provides legal services to businesses, insurance companies, and other organizations across a wide range of industries.
Role:
The Employment Litigation Paralegal will play a critical role in managing complex litigation cases, conducting in-depth legal research, and preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
Responsibilities:

Legal Research: Perform comprehensive research on case law, statutes, and legal precedents to support litigation strategies.

Document Drafting: Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and trial briefs.

Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure all documents are properly filed with courts and opposing counsel.

Discovery Support: Assist in drafting and responding to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission; summarize depositions and discovery responses.

Trial Preparation: Coordinate trial logistics, prepare trial exhibits, organize witness materials, and assist attorneys during court proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Paralegal certification required

3+ years of experience as a paralegal, with at least 2 years focused on employment litigation in a law firm setting.

Advanced proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law).

Strong drafting and editing skills for legal documents.

Familiarity with e-discovery software (e.g., Relativity, Concordance) and case management tools.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Working Situation:
Hybrid (~3 days in office)
Compensation/Benefits:
- Base Salary: $85-110k, commensurate with experience.
- Additional Compensation: Annual performance-based bonus.
