Biologics Automation Account Manager
Controls Engineering | PLC | DCS | MES
Customer-Facing Role | Mid-Atlantic Territory
Must live between Northern Virginia and New York City.
Industrial Controls professional needed to manage biologics manufacturing customers across the Mid-Atlantic region. This role is designed for a controls engineer with biologics process industry experience who enjoys working directly with technical customers.
You will manage relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturers and support them with process automation solutions used in biologics production environments.
Strong biologics manufacturing knowledge and automation expertise are required.
You should have working knowledge of automation in biologics production such as: Vaccines, Insulin and recombinant proteins, Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), Stem cell therapies, Cell and gene therapies, CAR-T manufacturing.
Your background should allow you to credibly engage manufacturing engineers, automation teams, and plant leadership within biologics facilities.
What You’ll Do
• Manage technical relationships with biologics manufacturing customers
• Support automation solutions used in biotech production facilities
• Interface with controls engineers, manufacturing engineers, and plant leadership
• Help customers apply automation technology within biologics processes
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
• Travel to customer sites throughout the Mid-Atlantic region
Core Technical Requirements
• Strong knowledge of biologics manufacturing processes
• Hands-on automation background with PLC, DCS, or MES systems
• Understanding of how automation platforms operate within biologics facilities
• Ability to discuss automation architecture and control strategies with plant engineers
Experience Required
• 5–10+ years in controls engineering, automation engineering, or industrial process controls
• Experience supporting biologics manufacturing environments
• Account management, client-facing engineering, or technical sales experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
Location Requirement
• Must live between Northern Virginia and New York City
• Travel required to customer sites across the Mid-Atlantic region
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) required
