Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead sitework and excavation projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can coordinate field crews, manage schedules and budgets, communicate with clients, and ensure high-quality, safe project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, oversee, and manage excavation, sitework, and utility installation projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking.
• Interface with subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to ensure work is executed safely and on schedule.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment for project execution.
• Review plans, scopes, and contract documents to affirm constructability and compliance.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs, OSHA standards, and company safety practices.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, change orders, and closeout documentation.
Qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience in civil sitework, excavation, or heavy-civil construction project management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of earthwork, grading, stormwater, utilities, and roadway construction.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office.
