Structural Bridge Manager — Philadelphia Suburbs
A leading civil & transportation engineering firm in the Philadelphia suburbs is seeking an experienced Structural Bridge Manager to lead bridge design, inspection, and rehabilitation projects across municipal, DOT, and infrastructure programs. This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for team mentoring, project delivery, and client coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee structural bridge design, analysis, and inspection projects
- Lead and mentor engineering staff and project teams
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and contractors across active projects
- Ensure compliance with PennDOT, AASHTO, and local standards
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control
- Support business development and proposal efforts when needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s (or Master’s) in Civil/Structural Engineering
- PE license required (PA preferred or ability to obtain)
- 8+ years of structural or bridge engineering experience
- Proven project management and team leadership skills
- Experience with PennDOT projects strongly preferred
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software
