Job Details:
Senior Structural Engineer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering calculations, layout, and system design to code with minimal supervision
- Prepare and manage design budgets, schedules, estimates
- Lead, mentor, and motivate engineering designers and junior staff
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and ensure coordination across disciplines
- Review and finalize engineering drawings and documents
- Engage directly with clients to communicate design and project requirements
Skills:
- Proficient in REVIT, engineering modeling tools, and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of building and discipline-specific codes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to manage time, people, and fast-paced project deadlines
