Senior Pump Service Technician | Philadelphia Region
$35 to $40 + Overtime + Bonus | Vehicle included
Relocation from within the Mid Atlantic Region is possible for strong candidates.
Hiring a senior technician with deep field experience installing, repairing, and maintaining centrifugal, submersible, sewage, HVAC, and domestic-water pumps across municipal, commercial, and industrial environments. Work spans water and wastewater plants, hospitals, power facilities, and manufacturing sites throughout the Philadelphia region. Responsibilities include diagnostics, preventive maintenance, rebuilds, and emergency service on critical pumping systems. Compensation includes overtime, retirement match, performance bonuses, and long-term advancement.
Key Qualifications
• Minimum 6 years of plumbing and electrical experience working with pumps, motors, valves, and related equipment
• Proven capability in pump installation, alignment, start-up, and rebuilds for municipal and infrastructure systems
• Strong diagnostic skill with motor and control issues: three-phase and single-phase systems, relays, pressure-reducing valves
• Hands-on experience replacing seals and bearings, balancing impellers, and completing piping connections
• Background in preventive maintenance and emergency service on water, wastewater, and HVAC pump systems
• Familiarity with OSHA requirements, mechanical seals, couplings, and field verification practices
• Independent, field-ready technician with a valid driver’s license and professional communication skills
