Project Manager Industrial Automation
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of industrial automation and control systems projects across a range of industries. This role is essential in ensuring successful project execution from concept through commissioning, with a focus on technical quality, budget control, and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, controls, and systems integration, coupled with proven leadership skills in managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the complete lifecycle of automation and controls projects, from planning to execution and delivery.
- Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables in coordination with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Oversee the design, development, and commissioning of PLC, HMI, and SCADA-based control systems for manufacturing, energy, and other industrial applications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
- Ensure all work complies with regulatory, safety, and industry standards.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and address issues to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, change orders, and budget tracking.
- Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing projects in industrial automation or systems integration.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar platforms.
- Experience with automation platforms including PLCs, HMI, SCADA, and DCS systems.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Rockwell Automation, Allen-Bradley, Studio 5000, RS Logix, etc.
- PMP certification preferred but not required.
- Willingness to travel 75% to 50% (national and international travel).
- U.S. Citizenship, Green Card, or Permanent Residency is required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $100,000 – $150,000
