Project Manager – Structural Steel Fabrication
$80,000 to $100,000 | Detroit Michigan
Lead complex structural steel projects from design through final erection. This position offers full project ownership—design coordination, value engineering, fabrication planning, field execution, and client interface. You’ll guide the process from concept to completion, ensuring every phase meets performance, budget, and schedule goals.
Work directly with senior leadership possessing decades of industry experience, gaining firsthand exposure to advanced fabrication methods, shop operations, and site execution. You’ll manage project documentation, budgets, and schedules while coordinating with engineers, detailers, and field teams. This is a high-visibility, growth-track role within a fast-scaling structural fabricator serving commercial, industrial, and data center markets.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Experience in structural steel fabrication, commercial, or industrial construction preferred
• Proficiency in scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor coordination
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive, detail-driven approach
