Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in steel fabrication, structural components, or heavy manufacturing.
- At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role within an engineering or production setting.
- Proficiency in CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla, or Creo.
- Deep understanding of welding, assembly, and steel processing techniques.
- Experience with cost analysis, product development, and process optimization.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

- Oversee technical execution of fabrication projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications, industry codes, and internal quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate directly with shop floor supervisors to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and optimize production workflows.
- Support the launch of new product lines, ensuring seamless integration from design to manufacturing.
- Review and validate cost projections, material consumption, and design modifications to maintain budgetary control.
- Partner with estimating and sales teams to provide technical insights during proposal development and client engagement.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on engineering efficiency, software utilization, and equipment performance.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with safety standards, fabrication codes, and operational policies.
- Monitor engineering metrics including turnaround time, error rates, and revision cycles to drive performance.
- Engage actively in the shop environment—conducting fit-up inspections, verifying fabrication accuracy, and supporting real-time problem-solving.
