Job Details:
Senior Accountant - Atlanta - A hybrid work schedule is available! $80-110k
Well known professional services organization is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their growing team!
Prior/current public accounting or large corporate industry experience is preferred.
Your Responsibilities:
•Month-end close procedures including journal entries and reconciliation of other assigned general ledger accounts.
•Maintain accurate and organized files of payments and cash reconciliations.
•Preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for the company.
•Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and GAAP reporting guidelines.
•Confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements.
•Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting.
•May serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
3-6 years of accounting or other related fields
Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
Detail and deadline-oriented
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
