Water Resources Engineer

What You’ll Do:
- Lead stormwater/water resources infrastructure projects from inception through completion.
- Oversee hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, drainage studies, and stormwater infrastructure design.
- Develop scopes, budgets, schedules, and track project performance.
- Manage preparation of construction documents, permitting, bidding, and compliance with all regulations.
- Drive technical master planning, flood studies (FEMA, CLOMR/LOMR), and capital improvements.
- Serve as primary liaison for clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Advance business development by preparing proposals and responding to new opportunities.
- Ensure sustainable design practices including green infrastructure and LID.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 8+ years of relevant project management and water resources engineering experience.
- Registered P.E. (or ability to obtain in relevant state within 6 months).
- Proficiency in modeling/design software (HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, SWMM, StormCAD, HY‑8, HydroCAD); advanced modeling a plus.
- Skilled in GIS (ArcGIS or similar), familiar with FEMA flood processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
