**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferable; machine design experience considered irrespective of degree.
- Minimum of 5 years in machine design, mainly with automation or robotic systems.
- Proficient in 3D design; experience with SolidWorks, including macros, is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks independently.
- Experience in project management is advantageous.
**Ideal Candidate:**
- Holds a BSME with 5+ years of relevant machine design and project experience.
- Excellent communicator and effective listener, adept at discerning client needs.
- Capable of producing high-quality, efficient designs under minimal supervision.
- Ability to complete projects on time, within budget, and with minimal oversight.
**Travel and Performance Notes:**
- Expect 10-15% overnight travel for installations, with limited on-site days required.
- Performance measured by timely, budget-conscious project completion and the precision of design outputs.
