Embedded Software Engineer
📍 Colorado Springs, CO (Local candidates only)
💼 Full-Time | $110k–$140k | Experienced
Join a collaborative engineering team developing embedded systems for hardware products including single-board computers, control systems, and LED signage. You'll lead end-to-end development of embedded software—from design to post-release support.
What You’ll Do:

Develop and own embedded C/C++/Python codebases

Work with Linux and bare-metal environments
-
Interface with hardware at the IC level
-
Contribute to specifications, testing, and debugging
-
Collaborate across engineering, production, and support teams
What You Need:
-
5+ years in embedded C/C++/Python development
-
Linux & ARM Cortex experience
-
Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, etc.)
-
Serial protocols (RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, etc.)
-
Strong Python skills (FastAPI, asyncio, testing frameworks)
-
Hands-on experience with scopes, analyzers, and embedded debugging
