Tax Accountant - Part time, temporary role. $37-50/hr - Center City
Growing hospitality group is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant on a part time, temporary basis. Initial assignment will last +/- 5 months. 16-32 hours per week.

Our rapidly growing hospitality client is seeking a talented Tax Accountant to join their team. As an individual contributor, you'll have the autonomy to manage a wide range of tax responsibilities and contribute directly to their success.
What You'll Do:
- Take ownership of federal, state, and local income tax compliance for partnerships and corporations (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120-S).
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of various indirect taxes, including sales and use, hospitality, liquor, and hotel taxes.
- Collaborate on diverse projects, leveraging your tax expertise.
- Embrace our tech-forward environment by utilizing and learning new software and tools.
What You'll Bring:
- 3-4 years of increasing responsibility in tax compliance, planning, and project execution.
- Solid experience with income tax for different business entities (partnerships, S-corps, C-corps) at all levels of government.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling indirect tax obligations.
- Excellent software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and a knack for quickly adopting new technologies.
- A proactive and independent work style, comfortable operating with minimal oversight in a start-up setting.
Ideally, You Also Have:
- Familiarity with CCH Axcess tax preparation software.
- Previous experience within the public accounting, real estate or hospitality sectors.
