International Filing Specialist (AM Law 100)

Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing and executing the preparation, submission, and tracking of legal filings in various international jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents (e.g., patent applications, trademarks, corporate filings, or litigation documents) with international courts, patent offices, or regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with foreign counsel, agents, and governmental agencies to facilitate timely and accurate submissions.
- Monitor and manage deadlines for filings, renewals, and responses across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintain and update case management databases or docketing systems with filing details, statuses, and correspondence.
- Research and stay informed on international filing requirements, treaties (e.g., PCT, Madrid Protocol), and jurisdiction-specific regulations.
- Assist attorneys and paralegals in drafting correspondence, forms, and supporting documentation for international matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in law, business administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in legal administration, paralegal work, or international filings (preferably in a law firm setting).
- Familiarity with international legal frameworks (e.g., WIPO, USPTO, EPO, or other national IP offices).
- Proficiency in legal docketing software (e.g., Anaqua, IPfolio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation:
$100-150k + bonus
