Job Details:
Controls Electrician
- Reading jobsite drawings (Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) to understand proper installation areas and requirements
- Installing and terminating low voltage cable
- Bending and installing conduit consisting of EMT, Ridgid, and PVC
- Installation of panels to walls and HVAC equipment
- Installing field devices such as sensors, thermostats, and damper actuators for HVAC equipment
- Installing DDC controllers in panels
- Reading Havtech generated wiring drawings to understand how to wire equipment
- Willingness to learn and grow in the organization and support the team.
- Utilizing various hand tools and equipment and maintains tools and equipment for proper functionality.
- Some travel with occasional overnight stays. (10%)
- Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the electrician field. HVAC experience is a plus.
- Electricians License strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Computer experience is required.
- Familiarity with the concepts of new construction.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Customer service oriented, able to interact with and build a good rapport with customers.
