Real Estate Finance Associate (AmLaw100)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled attorney to join our Real Estate Finance Practice Group. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in real estate finance law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans, preferred equity, and loan origination.
- Manage transactions from inception through closing, including post-closing and asset management work.
- Represent lenders in secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.
- Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients in real estate finance matters.
- Participate in workouts, restructurings, and distressed asset management.
- Build and maintain client relationships while managing significant, high-profile deals.
- Collaborate within a team-oriented environment, providing mentorship and support to junior attorneys.
Qualifications:
- JD and active bar admission in PA
- At least 3 years of broad real estate finance experience, preferably in large law firm settings.
- Proven expertise in loan origination, asset management, and workouts.
- Experience in structured finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
- Ability to handle complex transactions and provide solutions-oriented advice.
- A track record of managing deals from start to finish with minimal supervision.
