Job Details:
My client is a top notch CIVIL Engineering firm that is actively seeking a CIVIL Oriented CADD GIS Technician w/ a minimum 3 years of experience utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare/revise AutoCAD design drawings for municipal, commercial, and industrial facilities. A thorough understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D applications is required. Experience drawing site plans, survey plots, deed/filed map protractions, municipal map layers, etc. is recommended. Experience with Esri ArcGIS application (i.e. ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro) is a plus. The candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills that will enable them to communicate with engineering design, survey and cartography staff as well as generate the proper Drawing notations.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Develop 2D and 3D AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 or newer civil and site documentation.
- Work with manager and design staff to generate plans; section and details based on design discussions.
- Manage drawing sets.
- Assist with development of as-built drawings by performing field measurements.
- Work includes updates and corrections to drawings of municipal map layers (i.e. tax maps, zoning maps, ROSI maps, etc.)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Experienced in Auto Cad Civil 3D 2018 or newer.
- Knowledge of Esri, ArcGIS Pro is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Capable of multitasking.
- Work independently or as part of a team and take direction well.
- Open to learning/trained in new disciplines/skillsets
