Manager - Data Governance
I'm seeking a Manager - Data Governance for a full-time remote position with a stable and growing company in the greater Philadelphia area. This is a great opportunity for a technical manager with strong people leadership skills who has experience building a Data Governance practice. Interested candidates should have the following skills to be considered.
- 5+ years in Data governance, data management, data quality
- 3+ years focused on Data Governance with a proven track record of developing and implementing data governance frameworks, practices, policies and procedures
- 2+ years managing a team of data professionals, mentoring and inspiring
- Establishing Data Governance practice within the IT department where it didn't previously exist. Building out that practice and expanding data governance initiatives into other business units within the company.
- Lead organizational change initiatives for Data governance to ensure best practices are being met for Data Quality
- Extensive experience with Data validation and utilizing a tool-based approach to follow best practices
- Creating a Data Catalog to govern hundreds of thousands of data elements
- Experience with DataTrust, PerView, Unity Catalog are all desired
