Senior FP&A Analyst
A very stable, bricks and mortar company, is seeking to hire an experience Financial Planning & Accounting Analyst to its talented staff due to growth.
Essential Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 5 or more years of professional experience in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting/forecasting.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), financial modeling, and data analysis. Proficiency with SQL and Oracle ERP/EPM systems is highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree: MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and prior experience in public accounting.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Excellent analytical and creative thinking abilities, strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate complex information to senior management (written, verbal, and presentations).
- Data Analysis: Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
This role will involve:
- Conducting financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
- Developing and maintaining financial models.
- Analyzing large datasets to identify trends and insights.
- Preparing financial statements and reports.
- Communicating financial information to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
