Senior Manager of Attorney Recruiting - Chicago - $110-135k

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Manager of Attorney Recruiting to join our clients team. This key role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic recruiting initiatives to attract and hire top legal talent, with a strong focus on partner-level attorneys.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Recruiting Strategies:
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruiting strategies to identify, attract, and hire top-tier lateral partners across all practice areas.
- Research and identify potential partner candidates through market analysis, networking, and industry events.
- Build and maintain relationships with legal recruiters, search firms, and industry contacts.
- Candidate Sourcing & Screening:
- Conduct in-depth research and screening of potential partner candidates, including market research, background checks, and initial candidate assessments.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Employer Branding & Marketing:
- Enhance the firm's employer brand within the legal community through targeted marketing campaigns, industry events, and online presence.
- Develop and maintain relationships with law schools and legal organizations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Track key recruiting metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimizing the recruiting process.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- May lead and mentor junior recruiters within the recruiting team.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, human resources, and practice group leaders, to ensure a seamless recruiting process.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in legal recruiting, with a strong emphasis on partner-level recruitment.
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting and hiring top legal talent.
- Extensive knowledge of the legal market, including trends, compensation, and competitive landscape.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other relevant recruiting technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a law firm environment.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with legal industry databases and research tools.
